Collection and Use of Information:

RosesByDesign collects personal data for the purpose of providing a specific product or service requested by the customer. Certain information may be required in order to provide this product or service, such as full name of customer and recipient, authorised users, email address, billing address, contact phone numbers and credit card number.

The information collected may also be used to inform the customer of additional products and services, which may be of interest to them. All marketing material sent to the customer will include an option for the customer to request removal from mailing or contact lists for any future marketing.

Disclosure of Information:

RosesByDesign will not disclose any personal information such as your name, address, email, telephone number to any person outside of the company, unless the customer has authorised us to do so or unless required by law to disclose such information. Furthermore, under no circumstances will RosesByDesign sell or receive payments or services for disclosing customer's personal information to any partner or external company.

Cookies:

A 'cookie' keeps track of the information you provide such as the products in your shopping cart. RosesByDesign use cookies to let us know that you are a prior customer and to provide certain features such as member options. We do not store any personal or financial information about you using cookies. The majority of web browsers automatically accept cookies, but most allow you to instruct your browser to prevent the use of cookies. Offline Payment:

If you are still uncomfortable purchasing online at rosesbydesign.com, that's fine! You can pay using a cheque or postal order. Once your online order has been submitted you have 5 working days to send your payment via cheque, if this is the option you choose. A further 3 working days is required to process the cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Roses By Design Ltd, and posted to the address below:

Three-Digit Validation Code:

When you order from RosesByDesign, you will be asked for your credit card number and expiry date. You will also be asked for a three digit validation code. The validation code is a three-digit number on the back of the card. The code is a new feature, that provides merchants with an 'extra' layer of verification, especially when you use your card to make purchases on the internet, over the phone or via mail order.

The code is unique
The three-digit validation code is unique to your card. It is not embossed, like your card number, or electronically saved in your card's magnetic strip, so it's very difficult for fraudsters to get the number electronically or from a card imprint. When you provide the validation code to a merchant via the internet, over the phone or on a money order, the merchant has additional proof that you have the card in your possession when the transaction is made.

Where is the code?
The code is printed on the signature panel on the back of your card. The full number is quite long but you only need to provide the last three digits when requested.

Anonymity:

RosesByDesign customers have the right to remain anonymous except in circumstances where personal information is required to complete a credit card or account transaction. RosesByDesign will not disclose the sender information to the recipient unless specifically requested to do so by the customer.

Unsubscribing from RosesByDesign Email Newsletter:

RosesByDesign customers can elect to receive the RosesByDesign email newsletter by joining on the RosesByDesign website and opting to receive our plain text or HTML email. At any stage, should you wish to stop receiving any of these promotional emails, simply click on the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the email.

Security:

RosesByDesign.com uses a third party payment provider. The payment provider is reputable and secure. This ensures that all information you send to us via the Internet will be encrypted. If any other user intercepts the communication, they will only be able to view an encrypted form. This makes it almost impossible to be intercepted by an unauthorised party, as long as your browser supports the use of encrypted data transmissions.
